The CAF Impact Study 2024 highlights the significant role of the Common Assessment Framework (CAF) in improving public sector performance worldwide. Since its development in 2000, CAF has become integral to quality management, with its most recent version, CAF 2020, addressing emerging priorities like digitalization, agility, and sustainability. The study, based on data from 197 organizations, reveals that CAF enhances leadership, strategic alignment, and organizational culture, fostering continuous improvement. Additionally, its alignment with global goals, such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), underscores its relevance in tackling modern governance challenges, with organizations showing substantial progress through multiple CAF implementation cycles.
