While some steps were taken, such as holding municipal elections in Mostar for the first time since 2008 and adopting public administration reforms, political divisions continue to hinder overall progress. The country struggled with the COVID-19 pandemic, receiving significant financial aid and vaccines from the EU, though it lacked a unified vaccine strategy. Despite these challenges, Bosnia and Herzegovina needs to accelerate efforts to meet the remaining EU conditions.
